Injury has become the single biggest cause of death for children over the age of one. Every year CareFlight brings life-saving medical treatment to 8,500 critically ill and injured Australians, including many children.
During 2019, CareFlight cared for more Australians than ever before. They are committed to providing the highest standard of rapid response critical care to the ill and injured. Their specialist doctors, nurses and paramedics use air ambulances to reach critically ill and injured patients, transport patients to hospitals and conduct search and rescue operations.
To many Australians, a CareFlight aircraft in the sky means comfort, hope and help in a time of crisis. We really hope you are not one of them. But if you are, you can rest assured CareFlight will be there for you.
